Hello, I'm a Neko. by Ellynovia Deep in sleep 1/2 by Ellynovia

Hello dear watchers,

Today I am going to talk about a cat that I first met 4 years ago. I put some old photos of him on my artwork, such as the ones above.
It is about a wonderful gentle gray cat, we named him Grey (no need to say why). He lives outside with tons of other cats like him.

Before we moved, he came to see us regularly for about 2 years to have some food, a little time to sleep and most importantly of all, to have the feeling of being protected from everybody else that might hurt him. Unfortunately, he wasn't the first cat that came to visit us (eventually I'll put old photos of them in my artwork).
My family and I couldn't adopt him because we knew that he grew up in the wild, so we couldn't force him to be taken away to another place.

Today, I don't know where he is or what happened to him. At least, I'm sure he's fine, he's accustomed to it, but I still think we should do something about that kind of situation.

If you have an animal(s) (dog/cat/...) and you are thinking about leaving him/her outside for any kind of reason, try to ask anyone in your surroundings. There are also places that exist where they could take good care of him/her, such as shelters.
~Never forget to think what's best for you and also for the well-being of the animal. It might sound obvious, but sometimes people tend to forget it and only think about themselves.

Feel free to comment about your thoughts on this.

I wish everyone would consider before taking on a pet to make sure they are able to be committed to them.  But if they must, they should find them a home, not just abandon them...:(
